Tag, You're It! Teaser Time!

Hi all and welcome to day 4 (of 5) of MFT Teaser Time.

Confession: I am in LOVE with the Tag, You're It stamp set.  LOVE I tell you!  LOL  It's SO pretty, sweet, and SIMPLE.  Every now and then you just need to make a quick and easy card... like this one:

The Tag, You're It stamp set includes many gorgeous, large sentiments and several polka dotted icons.  For this card, I chose the Just Because sentiment, and the polka dotted strawberry.  I stamped them over a newsprint patterned paper.  I stamped the included polka dot frame in green around the perimeter of the tag, but it's hard to see in the picture.  I staggered 2 layers of the Simply Scallops Medium Die-namics die.

Check out the amazing new Fancy Flourish.  I love it!  I added a cool white brad (Michaels - Recollections brand) and the tiny flower from the Notched Tag Die-namics.

I had to incorporate the tag on another card, but this time I decided to do it a little differently and used shrink plastic!  FYI, the best type of shrink plastic to use is the prepared type.  It's WAY easier and less messy to buy is prepared (sanded).  I found some frosted, prepared shrink plastic at Michaels for $6.

I used the à la modes Bundle of Baby stamp set along with the Tag, You're It stamp set.  I created the flower embellishment with 2 different types of Prima flowers, the leaf die-cuts from Upsy Daisy Die-namics, a button, some twine and the Tag, You're It Die-namics die adorned with a onesie die from the Notched Tag Die-namics.  The tag frame was stamped.  I added the dotted lines, and a sentiment from the set.  Then, I shrunk it with my heat gun and adhered the cute little onesie.

See the excessive green shading around her?  It was a cover up!  LOL  I had recently reinked my E31 and while I was coloring some ink ceremoniously leaked down and made a BIG blob of brown ink on my paper.  After cleaning it up as best as I could with my blender pen, I decided to further mask it with some darker-than-usual shading.  I had spent a lot of time coloring and was trying to avoid the round file.  LOL

Sending Smiles

Hi everyone!  Today is MFT Pure Innocence Teaser Time... a fan favorite.  :) 

I chose to work with the Poppy stamp set.  I love how the dress is drawn to mimic the flower.  SO cool and clever!

She is colored with Copic markers and I drew in the ground with Prismacolor pencils.  I added some Warm Highlight Glitter Ritz glitter to the center of the flower.  I added a tiny 2 mm Swarovski crystal to her shoe. 

The sentiment was stamped on the new Bracket Tab Die-namics die.  I LOVE cutting a bunch of tabs and just having them sitting on my stamp desk.  It's SO handy for sentiments. :)

Hi all and thanks for stopping by today!  I'm excited to show you one of the newest à la modes stamp sets, I Spy.  Isn't she adorable?  I love how a portion of her face is magnified.  SO cool and clever!  :)

I used this "floofy" Prima flower I found in my stash.  :)

She is colored with Copic markers.  I drew in the ground with Prismacolor pencils.  I cut the Simply Scallops Medium border with some corrugated cardboard to add a bit of texture.  There is a cute sentiment stamped inside:

I filled in the eye piece of the magnifying glass with Diamond Glaze.

August Teaser Time - Day 1

Hi all and thanks for stopping by today!  It's that time of the month again... MFT Teaser Time!  In 5 short days the new release will take you by storm, so get ready for the ride.  :)

My first card today features Clearly Sentimental about Sympathy.  You have a few more days to earn this set for free.  Read all the details HERE.  OR, you can wait until it's for sale on release night, August 2nd, at 10 PM EST.

I highlighted some of the words with a Copic marker to add some pizazz.  I slotted a piece of ribbon through the sentiment panel.  I had this sketch jotted down from a long time ago, but it wasn't labeled, so I have no idea where it came from.  I added a strip of Simply Scallop Medium scallops to the bottom of the card.

I used the pretty, new Dizzy Doily Duo.

I added lots of pretty crystal flourishes to dress up the card.

You're My Type of Chick - Sketch 29

Hi all!  Today is MFT Wednesday Stamp Club #29. 

I went scrappy with my creations and used one of my favorite MFT stamp sets EVER... Own Your Story and the accompanying Four Point Frame Die-namics die.

My floral embellishment was created with the Large Rolled Rose Die-namics die, the Leafy Flourish Die-namics die, and a Prima crocheted lacy thing. 

I used the Simply Scallops Medium Die-namics die.
