Today I have a couple cards using the new Four Point Frame Die-namics die and Own Your Story stamp set. The two products come packaged together so you'll have everything you need to create fun, scrappy cards right out of the package. :) A super exciting (and new) aspect to this stamp set and die duo is that the set is HUGE! It is 6 X 8 and is packed full of fun elements. You'll be able to mix and match the stamps for endless possibilities.
My first card uses the beautiful Own Your Story stamp set. I used several stamps on this card. In the background of the focal panel, I used the notebook page stamp with pink chalk ink, the sentiment (which lines up perfectly on the lined paper stamp) was stamped with Memento brown, the flourish was stamped in a yellowish orange chalk ink, the paper clip was stamped in a light blue chalk ink. On the layer behind that, I stamped the text print stamp with Memento brown and the DING stamp with the same ink. That was six stamps in that small area and that is a small portion of the stamps actually in the set. LOL
I used my SU Air Art tool along with a Chocolate Chip marker to spray ink over all the pieces of the card to add some grunge. The flower is a Prima from my stash.
I used the new Simply Scallops Medium Die-namics die to die-cut the scalloped border and added some chocolate colored Swarovski crystals. I used some peach velvet and grosgrain ribbon from my stash. I roughed up all the edges by curling/ripping/squishing them.
For my second card, I used a couple different stamps in the set. I stamped a collage stamp that fits within the frame on blush card stock. Then I stamped one of the included sentiments on some woodgrain paper from Crate - Emma's Shoppe. Finally, I stamped the DING stamp set on two different colored card stock with different ink and used them as embellishments. I added a tiny Tim Holtz paperclip to the sentiment circle to add a little something.
See that border peeking out? That is the new Open Zig Zag border Die-namics die. I love that it is large and bold.
I took a lot of time to cut these circles to overlap them, and then ended up covering up most of that detail with the focal image. LOL
At the risk of boring you, I have one more project to show you. I just couldn't put this set down! :) This is a 3" X 5" piece of art that I sent to Kim for a special project she was working on. The criteria was inspirational, and I just LOVE this quote!
Here is a pic showing you the new Four Point Frame Die-namics die. I just love the unique shape.
Check out this nifty graphic. It illustrates just a few of the MANY ways you can use the new Own Your Story stamp set with the Four Point Frame Die-namics die. This stamp set is AMAZING. I am in LOVE with it.
I just love the new Open Zig Zag Border. I love the substantial size of the zig zags .
Just when you think you have enough scallops... you see this and realize you don't. LOL I love the Simply Scallops die and the Simply Scallops Medium is a great addition. With bigger scallops and the great way it cuts out the whole shape, you'll be mixing and matching in perfect, Simply Scallop style.
