Perfect Pinwheel Creations...

Hi all and thanks for stopping by today.  I am super excited about today's MFT Teaser Time because I am especially fond of the new Perfect Pinwheel Die-namics and stamp set.  It is SO cool, SO easy to use, and makes quick and cute cards for just about any occasion!

I have 2 cards showing 2 different styles, one cutsie, and one more elegant, both using the new Perfect Pinwheel Die-namics die and stamp set.

First up, I'll show you the elegant version.  I used Girl's Paperie patterned paper for this one.

I cut the pinwheel die-cut twice with 2 coordinating patterned papers and then spritzed both pieces with Chocolate Chip ink using my Air Art Tool from Stampin' Up and light blue Glimmer Mist.  I used the included zig zag circle and smooth circle centers to hold it all together.

I added a sentiment that is included in the Die-namics die and stamp set combo.

Here is one more I made with more brightly patterned paper from My Mind's Eye.

I added a touch of elegance with the High Tea Doily Die-namics die.  I placed the pinwheel in a field of grass and created a stem by wrapping twine around a piece of bamboo skewer.  I added the sentiment to the NEW File Tab Die-namics die, which I am going to LOVE adding to cards.  I love putting sentiments on that way!

Take a look at the cool Perfect Pinwheel Die-namics die and stamp set.  It includes the pinwheel, 3 center options (that stack together perfectly), and a nifty stamp set with good-sized sentiments to coordinate perfectly.

Let me show you how to create the Perfect Pinwheel!

First, cut 2 pieces using the Perfect Pinwheel die.  You can use all the same color, or use 2 different patterned papers.  Double-sided works best.  Also, cut a nice variety of centers so you can mix and match to your heart's delight.  LOL  I cut a bunch and then decided what color combo to use.  A girl needs to have choices. LOL

Adhere the 2 pinwheel pieces to one another, centering the "petals" so they are staggered perfectly.  Use the gaps to ensure they are equidistant.

Pull all the petal ends with the brad hole in them to the "top" of the pinwheel as shown.  Choose the center that looks best with your papers.  You can see the choice I made here.

Insert a brad through the center of the center (lol).  At this point, I also kinda curl the petal ends with my fingers so they are sticking up a little and are ready to be folded over.

Grab the center and start "threading" the petal tips on one at a time until you have all 6 petal tips in your brad.  Then, stick it through the center hole in the pinwheel and fasten.
