An untraditional "I Love You" card...

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by today.  This card is an untraditional "I Love You" card.  Puzzled?  I don't see why?  Zombies can be romantic... IF your hubby is anything like mine.  LOL  He loves to play zombie video games, reads zombie books (we are totally safe and prepapred if zombies ever attack... just sayin'), so I thought it was completely natural to make him a zombie card.

When I first saw the stamp set from TCP, Mwah!, I knew I had to get it and make hubby a card.  Yes, it is a Halloween set, but in my house, it might as well be a Valentine's Day set.

I used Jen's SFYTT for my layout.  If you'd to play along, click HERE for more details on how to participate.

Zombie is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic markers.  I used a combination of flesh tones and greens to color his skin.  I colored his jeans with BG72, 75, and 78, and then used a piece of denim with colorless blender solution on it to add texture to them.  The grass was drawn in with Prismacolor pencils.

One day, I was scrolling through some t-shirts on-line and I came across this HILARIOUS sentiment.  I jotted it down a couple months ago, just waiting for this card.  LOL  I typed it out in Word and printed it out on some patterned paper.

It says: If you were a zombie and I had to kill you...

The inside reads: I'd cry.

LMAO!  That is funny for two reasons.  First, just because it is.  Second, because my hubby and I have literally had a conversation about zombies attacking and what we would do.  LOL  When I gave him the card he loved it.  Success!  So, if you want to impress your zombie-loving husband, this is the set for you.  *wink*

Here is a shot of the inside of the card.  I just added a super-simple sentiment flag.

You KNOW it's funny... LOL

Thanks for stopping by today.  See you soon!
