Splish Splash

Hi all and thanks for stopping by today.  It's day 3 of MFT Teasers and today is all about Pure Innocence.  :)  I chose to stamp with Splish Splash, the new Pure Innocence Boy & His Dog stamp set.  I couldn't resist him and his cute sidekick.

The image was stamped on X-press It Blending Card Stock and colored with Copic markers.  I used a piece of grosgrain ribbon and some Various Blending Solution to create the texture on his overalls.  I added some Sakura clear glaze pen on the puddle, splashing water, and his buttons.  I use the Notebook Edge Die-namics die on the edge of the patterned paper.  Anytime I use lined or ledger-type patterned paper, it's hard to resist grabbing that die.

I distressed the edges of all the paper.  That makes it more boy-ish, right?  LOL  Just mess it up a little and call it masculine.  Sounds like a plan to me.  :)

Here is the finished inside, complete with another sentiment that comes in the stamp set.

Here are some details you'll need for the release this week:
