Fred Bear Hits the Beach

Hi everyone and welcome to Day 2 of MFT Teasers!

Today we are featuring 2 new stamp sets: Fred Bear Hits the Beach and Clearly Sentimental about Summer Vacation.  I had so much with Fred Bear, I used him TWICE.  :) 

For my first card, I wanted it to look like Fred Bear was floating in the ocean, so I cut out some waves (using the negative of a die) and layered them to create an ocean of waves.  I layered them over him and on some of the layers, I used red line dimensionals to give it lots of life.  I added lots of Sakura clear glaze pen accents (glasses, nose, eyes, sunscreen)  The sun is cut out of felt using the Sunshine Die-namics die and I added a wood button from the Earth Girl collection.

My second card has Fred Bear wading in the ocean.  LOL  I used colorless blender refill and a rag to give him "fur".  The hat was colored and then I scratched it up with my paper piercer to give it a realistic straw feel.  Again, I used a wood button from the Earth Girl collection (LOVE those buttons).  The felt flower is from a LSS.
